Russ and I would like to thank Kayt and the team for making our wedding day the most memorable day of our lives. Like most we knew we wanted a destination wedding but the toughest decision was on which island to hold the ceremony. This choice was made easy when within 24hrs we received an email back from Awesome Caribbean Weddings laying out the first draft of the wedding programme which was perfect to what we wanted from our special day. After this there was no question who we wanted to plan our wedding. From start to finish Kayt was fantastic, in fact no words can describe how wonderful she was. Nothing was too much to ask. Kayt guided us through everything, things we would never have even had thought of and everything was absolutely perfect on the day. The food was exceptional, steel band was superb and the scenery was breathtaking. Hello Michele! I finally have had a chance to breathe since returning home last week. We both had to jump right back into work, so haven't had time to sit down and email you! I wanted to take the time to tell you what a tremendous experience we had on our wedding day. Seeing that I only contacted you in February, and our wedding was to be in late April, you got everything together for us pretty quickly, especially given our unique requests. All of the contacts that you have and use and put into play on our special day were great---each driver was the nicest, most The wedding with a view location was tremendous, just as you described---I cannot imagine having our ceremony anywhere else on that island but there. And of course, all of these things were decided upon based on your recommendations and thoughts via email (having never been to St. Lucia before), and we trusted your advice and experience fully, and it was perfect. And the hike......It was the best experience of our life, probably because it had been arranged as we desired to follow our wedding ceremony. I am proud to say that we were your first couple in all your years of experience that wanted to do something crazy like this (!), and we did it without a flaw due to your arrangements for same. After our unbelievable ceremony which was private and breathtaking and so overwhelming for so many reasons, we changed into our hiking clothes, and were whisked off to the Gros Piton, where you had arranged our guide. We climbed, climbed, climbed, and made it to the spectacular top-----where we could see the ceremony location in back of Petit Piton. It was amazing. We then descended, had our driver waiting for us who took us to the boat dock, where they were also waiting to take us home. We had a lovely ride back at sunset to complete our wedding day. As to the wedding itself, the officiant was wonderful, and Mikael, the photographer, was so nice to work with----we are dying to see our pictures and hope we look good in at least some of them :) (We were of course too caught up in each other and the ceremony itself to check ourselves in the mirror) You really are a gentle and kind person who displays in your emails and meeting with us how much you care about making sure everything goes right---thank you for making this the best day of our lives. If you need me to ever be any type of reference for someone who is not sure whether they can plan this sort of thing from far away, please let me know---I would be more than happy to! Our options were many. At sea? On land? In a church? On a beach. Which Island? Which beach. With so many options I didn't know which to choose? Then I found your web site. I viewed your previous customers' photos and comments, and made up my mind. Weddings in St Lucia for me, sorry us! You gave us a wedding day and a wonderful experience we will never forget. From being picked up at the ship, taken to the beach and finally dropped back at the ship by a courteous driver in a sparkling white Mercedes , we could not have been treat better. Furthermore your costs were considerably cheaper than if we'd booked through a travel agent or the cruise line. I can't thank you enough, for a totally stress free wedding (well almost – sorry about the hundreds of e- We've also finally got round to putting our wedding photos in a album, Mikael was an absolute star, he took loads of ‘natural' photos – we weren't even aware of half of them being taken but they're all absolutely gorgeous. We didn't even think we were photogenic but he's really captured everything beautifully, more than we could have hoped for. Please thank him for us. After considering several locations and failed attempts of trying to communicate with various resort wedding planners, I was very discouraged. With the locations I was considering, I was finding out over and over again, that I could not have the beach ceremony I had always dreamed of. Resort, wedding coordinators were not responsive like I wanted. I was about to give up. Then, after reading several Jet magazines, I was noticing St. Lucia as a popular honeymoon destination. I searched the web for a wedding planner in St. Lucia and found Kayt and Michele. I emailed them and crossed my fingers.The rest is history. Kayt emailed me back right away, and I have emailed her ever since for two years. I explained my every wish to Kayt and she bought every wish to life. Even on a shoe string budget. She was there whenever I needed her. Kayt is friendly, nice, patient, observant, and she listens to her couple. She is so organized and on top of things. Kayt turned my dream into a reality. My wedding on the beach on Pigeon Island turned out to be more than I imagined. It was absolutely beautiful. Even my spouse cried taking in all of the beauty that was surrounding us that day. The canopy Kayt had constructed from a photo I sent her was even more beautiful than the photo itself. I feel so special because of my wedding day. What an awesome way to start a new life. Everyone who attended my wedding is still talking about it and how beautiful St. Lucia is. After our engagement, we knew we wanted to have a destination wedding but were unsure of the location. Multiple Google searches later, we found ourselves in the St. Lucia website and soon thereafter, the website. Little did we know, we were about to embark on one of the most of the most wonderful experiences of our lives.
This is where it began. Our initial e-mail was answered by Michele
in less than The planning process itself was also very enjoyable. Trust us, Michele will lead you in the right direction and let you know when choices need to be made. Planning our wedding was simple because Michele provided options that we could tailor to meet our specific needs. We had 14 family members and friends traveling to St. Lucia with us and they were all staying at different resorts on the Island. No worries, Michele assisted us with travel and accommodations as well as wedding planning. Honestly, our biggest fear was forgetting sunscreen. The first class treatment continued as Michele met us at Jalousie Plantation the morning after we arrived. We ran over every little detail and became quick friends when we learned about a shared passion for rescuing stray dogs. Michele was also very honest about a pending tropical wave that was set to arrive on our wedding day! Again, no worries, she had a Plan B to accommodate any inclement weather. OUR WEDDING DAY WAS PERFECT! Buckets of rain couldn't dampen the beauty of what Michele had put together. People came from Rendevous, Jalousie Plantation and Coconut Bay with no problems whatsoever. The ceremony was perfect, the location was amazing and the decorations were beautiful. Every detail had been taken care of. Our cupcake wedding cake was gorgeous but more importantly, delicious. Dinner was first class and was also delightful. The weather broke and we were blessed with a breathtaking sky of fire surrounding the magnificent Pitons. Without a doubt, the wedding of our dreams had now become a reality thanks to Michele. If we had it to do all over again, there isn't one thing that we would change about our experience with Michele andthe team. If you are looking for a dream wedding in the Caribbean but want something more than what a resort offers, then trust them to make your dreams come true. Bill and I have always wanted to be married on a beach. We first visited St. Lucia a cruise and quickly decided that it was the perfect island for a destination wedding. From the very beginning Kayt was helpful and thoughtful providing lots of options but never overwhelmed us. I can’t express how grateful we are to have had Kayt as a coordinator! She kept all the details organized and her suggestions were greatly appreciated. From the moment we began planning we were kept abreast of goings on, such as our chosen reception site being sold and a new patio being built at a different restaurant. We followed her suggestions and were blown away with the results! Kayt made sure that we had everything we needed and were prepared to get married. We knew that she was planning to meet us at our resort, but expected to be carted to and from a lawyer’s office. To our very welcomed surprise we never had to leave our big, comfortable chairs and the JP came to the hotel to see us!! Kayt took care of everything so we could enjoy our time in paradise. No detail was left out from extra flowers for my hair to an emergency tent when rain threatened the skies. I have rarely been so well taken care of! Our families were not so keen on the idea of using a coordinator outside of a resort and kept asking why we wouldn’t. Initially we looked into the resort weddings but they were all very similar and didn’t allow us to make any decisions as to decorations or flowers and did not offer the choice of a private setting. Neither of us liked the idea of being on a public beach and having strangers gawk at us. We were able to be married on a private beach and go to a resort where everything revolved around us and it could not have been more perfect! Both of our parents are still raving about the wedding and what a smart choice to use the planner we chose. The beach was beautiful and private and the restaurant Jacques was equally as private and the best food we had while on the island! The whole experience was so amazing that any expectations we had pale in comparison to what we actually received. Everyone who works for or with the company could not have been more pleasant and professional. Mikael was so nice and took so many beautiful pictures. I’m not sure how he did it but you can actually feel what it was like to be there that day just by looking at the pictures! His timing is impeccable and was able to capture the joy on all of our faces! Posed pictures were difficult to get because it rained after we were married but the candid pictures more than make up for it. Our videographer, Chris, did a phenomenal job at creating our video and we were surprised at how quickly he works. The video opens with scenes from St. Lucia and the whole video is set to music we used at our wedding and closes with our family members wishing us well and offering advice. The first time my family watched it we all cried it was so beautiful. Mikael and Chris both offered to meet with us the next day on the beach to get more posed photos. Although we opted not to, we were blown away by the lengths they were willing to go to in order to make our day perfect! Bill and I are so grateful to have had Mikael and Chris both be a part of our day. We are laid-back, fun-loving people and Kayt, Fenella, Mikael, and Chris meshed so well with the whole family that our whole family is still telling anyone who will listen how perfect the day was. Not only was the site you recommended absolutely beautiful, but your attention to detail was fantastic. We were able to customize our wedding right down to every detail we had dreamed about, including the colors of the flowers and type of cake, videographer, photographer, and the island tour in a limo after the wedding. Your ability to complete our dream wedding was incredible. We never even had to leave the ship to get our wedding license, its hard to believe, but if someone is looking for a complete wedding company they should look no further. You saved our special moment from what could have been a disaster. If anyone is taking a cruise and getting married during the cruise in St. Lucia they need not look any further. When we got engaged we had talked to several friends who complained of not being able to eat lunch on the weekends because of having too many wedding related appointments and being too tired and stressed out on their wedding day and we knew that having a big wedding was not going to work for us. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the cottage was right on the water which I loved since we fell asleep with the sound of the water and woke up to the peaceful crash of the waves. Pigeon Island, the site of our wedding ceremony was truly an amazing place to get married with the view of the water and mountainous backdrop. The cake was just like the image I forwarded and the flowers were really beautiful, even better than I had hoped. But the most important part of our wedding was the photographer and photos. The photos turned out to be really natural and the style mostly photojournalistic, which I had hoped them to be. I would definitely recommend the photographer to all of your clients! Her emails were prompt and detailed and - thankfully - had a sense of humor. She walked us through the process professionally and efficiently every step of the way leading up to the big day. And what a day we had! The setting was incredible (better than the pictures!) and Kayt did a fantastic job with the decorations and finishing touches. Everything was literally picture perfect. And Mikael (the photographer) captured it all in a way that was unobtrusive and let us relax and enjoy ourselves. When we saw the pictures we were so happy – Mikael delivered all the traditional shots we wanted, plus he managed to capture on film the moments that showed how we were feeling – that’s talent! the beach so much and we love being outside and nature, I knew we would
not have a traditional wedding inside a building. And because I
was going to marry the love of my life, I wanted us to commit our lives
to each other in the most magical and tropical place I could find.

After a terrible experience with Royal Romance through the Royal Caribbean
Cruise Lines, both you and your company came through for us. Not
only did you come through, you were able to arrange our entire wedding
in less than two weeks. We thought our special moment was lost due
to the other company's in ability to complete our plans, tell us where
our wedding would be, or even get a boutonnière for the best man,
given they initially had 2 months to plan our wedding, it was extremely
stressful with NO customer service. After weeks of no return phones
calls and no information we were left we no other option other than to
cancel with Royal Romance. We found you on line 11 days before our
wedding. Michele assured us that we would be able to arrange our
wedding in this tight time frame. Michele went to work for us that
Saturday and Sunday, getting us everything we needed to make every decision
we needed to make in only two days. Through emails and some phone
conversations and your attention to detail we had every detail of
our wedding planned. We were able to look forward to our wedding
day.

and the photographer was fabulous. The pictures were great and several
people had told me that the pictures look like they are from a magazine.
Michele a very long time before our wedding date and she was there every
step of the way answering any question I had and providing information
that I didn't even have to ask for. Originally we started looking to be
married in St. Lucia because we had always wanted to attend the Jazz Fest
but after I met Michele the decision was easy! Our wedding ceremony was
perfect and my guests could not stop telling me how awesome everything
was and that my wedding was the best wedding they'd ever been to! Michele
could not have been more attentive to our needs and all of her staff was
great too..the steel pan band "The Harmonites" even carried my mother-in-law
in her wheelchair up the stairs to the ceremony site! Not to mention we
got to play a song with them which was one of the many highlights of the
evening for me. Michele made sure she covered every aspect of my ceremony
outline..she even helped shield the wind from blowing out our unity candle.
There just aren't enough words to express how great and unforgettable
that day was for us and all of our guests. 
It
was finally great to meet you. Just wanted to let you know how thankful
I am of everything you've done.
