Weddings In St. Lucia

Weddings in St. Lucia - Frequently Asked Questions

Q
We are so confused about which documents we need to bring with us and the residency requirements for St. Lucia; we have seen so much conflicting information about this.

A
Our information is completely up to date you can see all the documents that are required at the planning stages page on this site.

There is no residency requirement in St Lucia but the paperwork does generally take one to two days to process, so usually the earliest you can get married is the third day after your arrival on the island.

An express service is available for those who do not want to wait the usual length of time and cruise ship passengers. It does cost extra but means that we can marry you on the same day as you arrive on island as long as it is Monday – Friday.

Q
We have looked through your packages and chosen the location we like, flowers and cake. Its great that all those details are already finalized but after we book can we change these decisions if we want to?

A
Absolutely, you can change anything you like right up to your wedding day. We have developed a system that makes the planning decisions easy for you but when you have made these decisions you can always change your mind. We keep working with you so that your wedding is exactly what you want.

Q
We have chosen our package and would like to book. How do we do this and what are the payment schedules?

A
We have detailed the planning stage on our site at (URL planning stages) for you to be able to refer to at any time. We only have one wedding a day so your deposit will secure your chosen wedding date for you alone. 50% of the total price of your wedding is due 3 months before your wedding date and the final balance 1 month before your wedding day.

Q
We would like to book but are still concerned about dealing with an internet company. Can you give us contacts for references?

A
We completely understand. On the site you can see testimonials from past clients. We can also put you in contact with some past clients who have agreed to act as references for us. We are also members of the SLHTA ( St. Lucia hotel and tourism association) and you could also call the St. Lucia Tourist board in St. Lucia about us. We are also members of the Association of Wedding Professionals International http://afwpi.com/ and the Caribbean Wedding Association http://caribbeanweddingassociation.com/

Q
We are getting married in two months time. We thought we would be having 23 guests but suddenly there are another 7 who have said they would like to attend. Can we include these extra guests at this time?

A
Certainly you can. We will adjust your package to reflect the increased numbers and adjust your final balance…the more the merrier!
